You can buy the unit and have a local shop do the machining and install it for you.
You can ship your cover to use and we will do the work with about a 3 wk turnaround depending if you want it chromed.
If you in the area DMC can do it all here for you inclucing installing it.

The unit comes in standard, polished or can be chromed. YOur cover will need to be re-chromed after machine work.

Website will be updated today to reflect all this and there will be a price drop.

Ray am I understanding the link correctly in saying that the hydraulic clutch is presently only available to RSD models only?

Master Chief, I'm sure this will get me, but where do we get the hydraulics from? Is it still using the stock clutch lever setup?:flag:

Yes, you still have the cable from the lever to the adjuster. A small acturator is located there.

The maching costs would be unaffordable for most to alter the stock control unit.

The price is not bad -consider this, when i did a total conversion, a dd6 cover from baker is about $600 alone. Add new clutch rod and all the time to fab an adapter to make it fit... It can all add up

Pardon my ignorance I need clarifacation on this. You have cable to were the adjuster is located on the down tube right? Then the acuator operates hydraulics to were the ball and ramp would be, where is the fluid stored? Is there a reservoir or a slave cylinder?
What am I missing?

Hey guys, thanks for all the interest.
Five send me your mailing address and I will send some literature to you thanks bro.
While the kit is not complete DMC wanted to get the actuator out there for those who are currently searching for a hydraulic cover. DMC solved the issue of a hydraulic cover for the RSD 04 and up BDs. Now DMC is working on solving the issue of NEW hand controls which can run thousands, and lets face it now is not the best of times for some of us to be spendinng that kind of money, so DMC is currently prototyping a master cylinder that will install at your stock clutch lever location but allow you to remove the cable and be rid of it. Like I said we are prototyping so it will be a little bit yet but visit dmcustommachine.com regularly or send us an email and let us know you want to be on our customer list and we will add you so when new or updated items come out we will contact you.
Lastly, if anyone has any questions regarding any of DMCs products don't hesitate to email us we would love to talk with you about mods you would like to see or do.
The pricing for the actuatorhas been updated and while it isn't cheap I think you will find that DMC's prices, for what you get, are far better than others.
Oh and keep an eye out for DMC's new oil cooler with "AAS", Active Air System, technology. Its going to blow you away cause there is nothing else on the market like it.

One other thing, for all those SUPPORTING members who have been with the forum at least 3 months DMC offers a 10 percent discount on all its products to you exclusively so if your planning on purchasing from us make sure you email us and gives us all your info so we can make sure you get your 10 percent off.

Later everyone

Been interested in this for awhile but now after running through my 4th clutch cable, I am absolutely ready for an hydraulic clutch setup.

Anyone been running the DMC setup and have feedback?

I'm going to try a slave cylinder made by Magura that installs in the same location as the cable on the pulley cover and still uses the ball and ramp. they look pretty slick I have had them on my KTM dirt bikes, you can pull the lever with one finger.

All, I rode to Rome for vets day to the American cemetery to honor other vets. 3 hours riding with 40 bikes, traffic, and cramping clutch hand. I am not a mehanic so please help me understand what RSD means. I have a 2006 k9. Not sure what rsd means. Will this work on my k9. Tired of cramping. Thanks in advance.
