Is there anybody making engine oil dipsticks I just hav an aluminum plug on mine now
Depends on your bike, dipsticks only work on I believe the hardtails, since the soft tails oil bags are under the seat or tucked behind it. they have a curve in the filler neck so can't get a stick to measure anything anything anyways.

What? My dipstick works with the passenger peg setup.only will work on the ridgeback if you don't have the passenger peg setup
Its the guy on the seat..you can buy one. They are pointless for the dip stick portion actually, doesn't tell you CHIT, since there are no markings on it. You could scribe one in I guess but they have a temp sensor on the top which is all I care about. I just look in there with a flashlight. Derrick and Donna have them.I wish my pitbull had a dipstick I use a nice clean flat head screw driver!![]()
I have to agree with Eric, it does when your riding itI wish my pitbull had a dipstick I use a nice clean flat head screw driver!![]()

I was just looking I guess got enough clean fresh dipsticks in stock..hahaI wish my pitbull had a dipstick I use a nice clean flat head screw driver!![]()
tried it on my 08 with passenger peg set up and it doesn't clear the bar that holds the pegs. put it on my 05 without peg set up with no problems. in addition I etched markings on the dip stick for readings. What? My dipstick works with the passenger peg setup.

Did the same thing, etched markings on mine. Temp gauge isn't very accurate, but makes me feel a little better. I check oil about once a week and remove my passenger pegs, then put them back on....takes about 5 minutes...with the right tool.....tried it on my 08 with passenger peg set up and it doesn't clear the bar that holds the pegs. put it on my 05 without peg set up with no problems. in addition I etched markings on the dip stick for readings.
They are made in China so accuracy is not dependable...I like to use them to open Paint Cans mostly...How accurate are these Harbor Freight dipsticks? Would they work on a k9?

It looks as if ya have a set for each season, and one for each fluid level. Is the phillips for metric or SAE?How accurate are these Harbor Freight dipsticks? Would they work on a k9?
