Okay , below is Bigdogs 2003 description of this module. I read it to say with the Yellow LED on you have a open curcuit some where . Which could even be a burnt out headlamp. Nowhere it says you'll loose run/start functions. So I'm inclined to think the relay is bad. And thats what's causing the yellow LED to stay lit. You should read this , it may help you make a conclusion and a understanding of what should be going on with the ignition side of this module . With out the ignition side functioning the start side will not function.
