Ordered mine this morning should have in 2-3 days. Cost is $85 minus 10% for BDB fourm members. Free shipping through USPS. The kit comes with all you need to install.

I like that toggle if you will, mine just has one like the one I had on my Road King, you have to turn it in. By the way, is that stock? Just noticed it on mine when I put it on the hoist, never knew it was there after 2 years of riding.:rolleyes:

Just finished the install this weekend. Awesome addition - take your time and the there is no problem. Wife liked it so much I put one on her HD too as a suprise.

Top notch shop - I called them directly and the guy there at Heritage Machine is great to deal with. He's getting so much biz from the forum, he took off 10% on my order of two. Nice to deal with a first-rate shop! Great product...beats the crapp out of anything else for a cruise locker.

Ranger the F*ck up!
I did this install right before the ride up to Rolling Thunder. It was pretty easy. The hardest thing was finding an 11/64" drill bit. Thank goodness for Ace Hardware! Anyways, it worked out great on the trip. I wish I would have had this 2 years ago when I rode to Washington State!

I bought one of these here a while back and tyhe package says 04 and newer. I have an 03. Am I hosed?

Is there a difference between the CRUISE MATE brand v. the one that Big Dog has on their web site? Is the quality about the same or is it completely different?

You have to drill and tap /then install the cruise mate .....mate!!:2thumbs:

Good point Barhopper. I'm sure the wifey will go for that one. She has been wanting a sissy bar for some time. I will just tell her that only certain bikes come with them on. I will post pictures up soon.

EHC FREE!!!!
I installed one of these over the winter. Now that I have been riding, I can't imagine NOT having one on a bike. Great product and easy install!!

Me too, used it to ride 220 miles yesterday, bad head wind, I would have had wrist fatigue if it weren't for this thing! Best bang for the buck here fo sho!
