That sucks dude! Hope you have a speedy recovery. Although I can't help you heal your foot, I can help you heal your bike. Hit me up for paint if you want. Sounds like you're keeping your spirits up!

If the guys ins. co wants to be difficult, it's time to play hard ball. Hit them up for all it's worth!Staying on top of whats going on helps me heal, i know the chopper will get fixed but it keeps me focused, im the Mind over matter kinda guy which speeds up healing.
It was def the other guys fault and is stated so in the police report, plus i have a witness that gave a statement to the police. Guy claimed he never saw me, hmm a long chopper with no baffle in the exhaust?????????? I doubt it.
All the guy got was a ticket, amazing right. His ins company is being extremely difficult so i have to hire a lawyer to get this all straightened out.

Well right now my understanding is..... guy who turned in front of me was driving someone elses car, which means my lawyer will go after the cars insurance company and drivers insurance company, im sure it will be a while and thats fine with me, in mean time i need to have someone cover my medical bills and pay to fix my bike, once im riding again and have use of my leg ill feel like a man again and that alone means a world to me, dealing with a settlement i can wait for, im a patient man, victory taste better after you been starving for it a while.Damn...! Sorry to hear man. That's fucked up.
As far as the Insurance co... dont take any shit from them. THE FIRST thing I would find out from the Insurance co is what their insured's policy limits were. They HAVE to tell you. That will matter. THEN you know what the possibilities are or arent.
My brother in law was hit a couple years ago. Broke his leg, totalled his bike. Some douche that "didnt see him" turned left in front of him. Took him a year & a half but, he had his bike paid for, all medical, and got a check for $400K. Depending on your profession, this injury cant impact your life alot more than you think it can at the moment.
My BIL was forced to retire from the Marine Corp as a result of his accident/injury.
