What's the price on the ThunderHeart?
I would tend to lean towards it as the newer technology sounds like a plus.
Both at same price $300 in Amazon... TH about $10 more. UPDATE

It seems to me the TH is no longer available.... in some webpages it says it has been discontinued by the manufacturer.

55570 is what I have on my 2006 Mastiff. I have the open primary. Look on the "How to Section" and look at Jake's install and replacement of the Stator. Call them, well from spain e-mail them and they will tell you which one you need. :2thumbs:

Either one will do. And since one is N/A, all you need is stator and rotor. What are the other wrapped parts, spacers/collars? You can buy a harley volt/reg or any aftermarket v/reg that pushes over 14v at idle and above.

All you care about is a wad of clay compressed onto the side of a wired prong. You now aim for X to Y:

X is the prong that faces the rotor magnets.
Y is the clay to dial in the middle of the magnets to the prong.
Z says the shims dial in that X to Y position for a more balanced wave form.

You think that is more for backing the rotor away from the case? I think you more want to shim that magnet over that prong in the middle for some reason?

My Stator shorted out so I just went with the standard 32 amp Harley EVO setup. i checked the output on it and its putting out more than the BDM. 14.4 volts at the battery. If you search around you can find it for about $150.
