If you are backing off of the clutch push rod 1 and 1/2 turns that's to much free play. You only need to back off 1/4 turn.
:iagree: 1/4 turn should do it. Also what type of primary fluid are ya’ll using? Stay away from synthetic oils this may cause slippage, just saying…

Yep way to many turns as RRRUFF said only 1/4 turn. And when you find the sweet spot you will find the clutch will not slip.

Agreed. Just 1 to 2 flats, not full turns. If you have your primary off, pull your clutch pack and measure for proper stack height. Clutch Pack installed height: 1.96 +/-.003"
