I have an 07 Mastiff with 17,000 miles. The bike creaped in first gear with the clutch not engaged, at highway speed if I rolled the throttle on, the clutch slipped really bad. When I would shift it would bang hard and wasn't smooth, also finding neutral was impossible if you were stopped.
The issue wasn't the clutch, it was the clutch cable at the ball and ramp under the pulley cover. It somehow jumped and was not aligned properly making it impossible to adjust the clutch. Now all the previous issues are gone, the bike works great.
I hope this helps someone.
