Hi, I thought I would try and post this here. Does anyone know where I kind find a Clutch Locking tool. I need to remove the inner primary and can`t get the clutch assembly off. The nut is to tight for the impack driver to work. Let me know.
Thanks

Remember those are reverse threads. Righty loosey, lefty tighty. I use a rag to keep everything still...:2thumbs:

Stuff a rag between the chain and the clutch sprocket. Then apply steady pressure with a breaker bar.

So what you guys are saying is you don`t know where I can get the proper tool. I`ll try it your way , but, would still like to have the right tool for the job.
Thanks for the replies.

If you want to spend the money you can go to jpcycles.com and order a bar for the job or you could go to the nearest hardware store and buy a 1/4X 2" piece of flatbar and cut it to length/fit between the front and back sprocket and have at it. These guys are probably speaking from experience and trying to help and at the same time, save you a few bucks. Hope this helps.

Here ya go bud, works like a charm! Place this between the teeth on the engine sprocket and the chain and use an impact wrench to loosen the clutch hub nut. Like the others said, the nut loosens clockwise.
