Clutch Lever

All I have a 2006 K9, Changed clutch cable, What is the secret to hooking the new cable to the lever on the handle bar? I think at some point there was a thread on this subject, Any help greatly appreciated.

So it appears it is the bushing that holds the lever in that is the problem, I Don't yet have the dimensions of that bushing or i would have a new one made'

I believe there's a metal horseshoe shaped clip that goes over the cable after you insert the cable into the assembly that holds the lever. Then a wee little screw holds that clip in place.

Update, Got it out and now to the finish line and this K9 is coming back to life
