Clutch adjust problem

I pulled my clutch pack and inner primary to replace seals on inner primary. I DID NOT dissassemble the clutch pac itself.

Yet when I reinstalled and tried to adjust clutch push rod, I am getting no movement to engage or disingage( clutch lever just feels like I am streching the cable, hard to pull?).

In fact, to get a feel for how it works, I even removed the clutch rod completely, then took up the clutch cable slack, and the lever is hard to pull and I feel or see nothing moving????
Could the ball ram have been damaged? The only thing I did wrong on initail disassembly was forgot to remove slack in cable and clutch rod prior to removing throw out bearing.
Everything functioned fine before removing clutch pack and sprocket.

Sounds like your ball and ramp may have rolled into the wrong position and you could be stretching your cable.

Thanks,
I think it's something like that. going to pull the pulley cover and start investigating.

You were right on the money! I did not notice that the cable slack allowed the cable to slide down the downtube. This caused the ball ramp to be about 60% turned from were it should have been fully re-retacted. It took me removing the pulley cover and ramp cover to see how it worked. But problem solved!!!
