Clean Diamon cut

Hi Friends,

How can I clean the diamond cut on the engine. I see some oxidation, I try everything but still cannot get it clean. it is deep

3000 Wet Sandpaper used carefully and only where necessary, then billet polish with a lot of rubbing.

I would think using sandpaper would knock off the facet cut edges of the diamond cut and may cause it to NOT look like diamond cut.

I would just use a polish compound for the heavy oxidation and then a good aluminum polish to finish.

I can't imagine any oxidation being that bad unless the bike had been stored in a damp area or outside in the weather.

3000 grit should be fine enough to sand. I would try some good polish "Adams Polish" works well for me.

the outside is clean but to clean the groove inside is the issue, I use power ball but it cannot go deep to clean the oxidation

I use a .22 gun cleaning rod to clean between the fins, it works fantastic!

In any gun/hunting shop or just Google it and you will find hundreds of pages where to buy it from..

Any round wire brush will do. I use brass or stainless steel ones. Are you allowed to have firearms in your country?
