Damn this suck Kevin, yea I'd try what Ker said and go directly to the manufacturer, I wonder if Matt Moore at Big Dog could help ya out with that also, or at least point cha in the right direction.http://bigdogisback.com/contact

Yea they are but he has been selling bikes oversea's and I am sure he has had to have them inspected and certified to do that so maybe he can help, just keep calling and e-mailing them, sometimes from what I hear they take a while to get back to ya, he's also a member here you could try sending him a PM.

Dream Machines in Melbourne where you bought the bike claim that when you buy a bike from them the bike can be
registered in any state in Australia so they should provide you with all the necessary certificates.

Kevin, this sounds like they're just trying to fuck with you.... it's like, the tires say Avon...do you need a "certificate" for that too??? I don't know what it's like "down under" but maybe you can push back?

Many brake line companies have lines that not certified for street use, just like exhaust systems that are not techincally legal/certified for use other than off road.

Yeah, I guess I'm not thinking it through... you can't win against customs here neither. It would be like getting into a knife fight only to get cut...long, wide and frequently.
