I took the new 2002 Husky out on the highway for the first time today, and all seemed good until I get above 60 MPH. At higher speeds it seems to cut out when I get on it a little. If I slowly increased the speed it seemed to do a little better. There also seems to be some minor back firing at all speeds, but nothing major. The previous owner had installed V&H pipes as well as changed out the stock air filter with a spike air filter. I'm not sure that he did any carb adjustments after these upgrades. In all your expert opinions, is this a problem that could be resolved with a carb adjustment? This bike also had been setting garaged for about three years with minimal riding.
