yes i get the screws part but what about the spring on the side of #3 in middle pic

Spring is required to keep screw from vibrating and changing setting. Read the red.

HMAN has the proper procedure marked with the red marks above. Do everything on the list, and fine tune from there.

i must be asking wrong on the side of carb their are 3 parts with washer that sit on the throttle plate rod and the screw is above this
I've watched a shit ton of video's and most of them show how the are put together then they wind up the spring but nothing is said as to how much its run around

thank you guys i put the three parts together without rotating anything to make spring tighter
i did adjust while running down the highway... it's really not that hard to control the bike with left hand and set the screws with right hand

You can go on s&s website and download instructions about all their different carburetors and how to set them up I haven't done it in a while but it was free when I did it years ago
