can i use either speed sensor opening?

cant get screw out of my speed sensor now stripped I think previous owner used red Loctite. I have a baker 6 speed and I see another sensor port with cover on it right next to one sensor is in now. can I use this opening for new speed sensor and cut wire on this one? thanks for any help

Got answer from baker transmissions. I can not use the other speed sensor port it is for 5 speed transmission and i have 6 speed w od so would not line up with gear to read. if you have a six speed w od got to have speed sensor in outside port. Just info for any who may have been wondering also. Thanks Donnie

Propane torch the red locker at the trans case and watch out you do not melt the aluminum. Trick word of the job is 'swirl' around the sensor hole. Remove a cold wrap [a frozen wet shop rag] and warp the sensor. Take the frozen box end wrench and time that hot case when it's time to yank on the wrench.

:whoop: Gimmy at torch, do I need the other hole, get outhe way. :roll:
