Welcome, I love my K9 but they are not for everyone all I can say is go test ride one then decide they are 9 feet long and ride different than other bikes.

I love my K9. I have had sport bikes up until now and really like the way K9 compares. My brother has a street glide and i have to say I am more comfortable riding the K9. on windy days they can move around a little but not too bad. As long as you know you cant turn real sharp being 9 feet long, close to the sport bikes on turning.

BigdogBro2 and I both love our "07" Bulldog prostreets. Similar to the Mastif. You need to drive what intrest you before the buy. Fat rear tires are a different drive than a 200 rear. I like the new Wolf but wished it had a 300 rear on it. Have had very little problems with both the bikes.

I appreciate everyone's input I no a little bit about the turning radius I have a stretched busa and it take's a 40 acre field so that's no big deal I like a big bike because I'm 6foot 6 and most bikes I feel are to small I'm going to strokers Saturday to look and decide thanks everyone.

Welcome silver09, I too am tall 6'-5" and Man all i can say is that the K9 felt like it was made for me. I had been trying on bikes for a while and when I finally got to sit on a K9 i was sold........way more money than I intented to spend on a bike but I love it. At your height you are probably going to be looking into the 2.5" forward control extension. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. A couple of members, Bowhunter, and KaptAmerica are fabricating some totally awesome 6" forward extensions. Check out this link.

And of course remember you will be getting into a totally different class of bike. A HOT ROD. There is more maintenance and up keep. I liken mine to dating a super model. A little high maintenance but one hell of a ride. Good luck and let us know what you get.

Yeah I definitly understand about tha maintance that's going to have to be done I'm used to turning wrenches all the time that's what I do for a living but I've heard alot of good things and how much attention and fun they are it's defintly alot more money than I want to spend but aleast my bike won't get lost in tha parking lot like most people.

I luv my K9...Dig the riding position and looks. The engine is not rubber mounted so you definitely feel the motor vibrating when you are getting into the throttle. Overall I am real happy with the bike and can't get enough of it. My wife calls my K9 my mistress if that tells you anything.

I just wanta ride
Welcome Silver-love the ridgeback. I would buy another. If I had $$ I would buy K-9 for the wife and I and I would ride the ridge solo. I love the low rear fender on the ridge and its a hardtail.

There like any other bike you get on and ride. Gonna take a few hundred miles and you'll be used to the ride. As far as reliability....I think the more you ride it the more reliable they are. Several people on the site use theres as daily riders. If you ride it everyday you become more familiar with the sounds and vibrations and know when something isn't right. I think there great bikes and there different, thats why I like them. And if your close to Strokers you have a good dealer that can always help with problems. Stokers has been around for a while. There not going anywhere.

Yep! I'm 6'4" and I ride a Ridgeback. It fits well! I like the way the Ridgeback's rear fender looks a lot better... But I like the shape of the K9's seat! It cradles your butt instead of poking it with a fenderbumpgaurd...

I've had my 05 Chopper for 5 1/2 years now and there is absolutely nothing like putting her into wind and heading down the highway. It is an absolute pure joy to ride. It looks pretty hot too :)

The k-9 is a great bike to ride and not very difficult to handle. I have rode mine 10,000 miles and it has never done anything on the road that scared me. Just slow down for the turns and you'll be fine, on the straights turn up the wick because it is so awesome to feel the torque of these engines. With that 300 tire back there it offers lots of braking power, I have never skidded the back on a hard stop. These bikes are alot better than you may think. Also, get used to hearing nice bike man... enjoy. :2thumbs:
