BUILT A SISSY BAR !!

Goofin aroun in the shop tonite . Decided to build a sissy bar . Not really sold on it yet . Kinda thinking about powder coating it just to see how it looks .
Total cost $7 and 1 hour labor .
Does anyone have any idea what it would cost to chrome it .

Would prolly cost about $250.00 to chrome at some of the better chromers. Most of the guys here use Browns in Kentucky...been in business forever and do great work.

Hey Dugan, Looks really good. Chrome would look great but powdercoat would look good too. Sissy bar I built I wanted to chrome, but went with PC just because PC shop did the whole frame, tins, sissy bar, and all brackets for a litttle over $800. Has really held up well and I like it.

Here's a pic. Gives you an idea when it is same color as bike.

BB is a time traveling sissy bar maker.:lol:

He just puts some Jim Beam in the BBT's gas tank, gets her up to 100mph (well, maybe just 65mph), and poof, he's on his way!!
