Nah, had to go to work. In Pittsburgh right now, WTF are people doing living up here? This sucks.

I called S&S and received superb help. He emmidiately sent me the cable I need to hook up the computer to the bike for free. I printed out the manual off of their website, and once I get a few days off I'll hack at it again. I did land a sissy bar, extenders for the foot controls/boards, and a luggage rack for it, so the project is moving in the right direction. I have also received very good info about the EFI system from members via text and PM's and I really don't know how to thank you all for the support. I'll post up the good news once I get it up and running again.
Kim, where did you get the extenders for the foot controls/boards

I live a few miles from Cycle City of NY. Unfortunately they closed their showroom doors the beginning of September. Those baggers they have had on their showroom floors for a few years originally tagged $27k. They were all beautiful bikes and they drastically reduced the prices to move them out. They had about 5 or 6 left when they closed. They no longer have any type of service dept. Good luck with them.

If you need help with getting it running properly you can call Andy he was the service manager at Cycle City and knows those bikes up and down. He now owns Motorhead Motorcycles in Stony Point NY and there phone number is 845-377-0573. I would give him a call.

Ah...makes sense now why the drop on price. But to be frank he sat on them too long as it is.

Glad the forum members are getting brand new bikes for 20k though. Hell of A deal

It usually takes a little but the story does eventually get out:yesnod: I wonder who got the 06' 1of1, imagine that bike sitting for 10 years, wonder what problems that will have?

Hey Dent, they show some new Mutts also, if they still have them you could get a new one cheap, Alicia would prolly like that for Christmas, don't be a tight ass and spend some of your moldy money

Update: Got the cables to hook the bike up to the computer as S&S shipped it to me for free, different from BDM who wanted me to bring the bike over (1800 miles) and then charge me $50,- I'm just so disappointed on the treatment I received from BDM, but I am stoked about the customer service from S&S. Maybe that's why BDM went out of business and S&S stayed in business??? Anyway, I'm out and about bringing families together for xmas and no time to work on it. As soon as I get an afternoon off and at home I'll hack at it with great support from Curtis, S&S, and no support whatsoever from BDM. The thought of trading my K-9 in for a new one has been replaced with changing the engine to a new S&S when it's needed, and sending the tranny to _______ (ya know who). I did manage to get a hold of the luggage rack that was a prototype in the making by BDM back in the day as well as a sissy bar. So all that's missing for the time being is the backrest. I might just make a copy of a stock one, or have Sterling make one for me.

More updates to follow soon.
