SKOGDOG
One of the old ones.
Th3 Infamous1 posted earlier that we had to use a hairdryer to get my bike started today and DentDude remarked about warming up the EHC. Obviously he has some experience with the issue. I am hoping DentDude will elaborate.
I am interested to know what other Forum members know about this issue.
My bike (2010 EFI Bulldog Bagger--bone stock) would not do anything when the key was turned. My radio had power, as did the power outlet (cigarette lighter), but absolutely nothing through the ignition.. We got a hair dryer and heated the electronics in front of the battery (modules, EHC, etc.), and suddenly the lights lit up and the bike started as usual and ran perfectly all day.
For those who have any experience with this, what do I need to expect? Am I likely to make it home? Does it just do this forever, or will it suddenly fail, or does it progressively degrade, what usually happens?
I appreciate your on-point observations and any experiences you've had.
