Banjo Playing PsychoBilly
Sad for sure, if this officer is found guilty, I hope they put him away for a very long time. Will be interesting to see how that plays out.HOPE THE POS GETS THE MAX
I did find it interesting how in the first link (before they took the PO blood sample), the IMPD spokesman ("said IMPD spokesman Brian Dixon") said "The motorcycles were stopped at a stoplight and failed to move as the squad car approached, Dixon said."
Now to me the first thing from IMPD seem to imply that the motorcyclist did something wrong. Let me see they are stopped at a stop light and "they failed to get out of the way!!!!" Damn biker's failing to get out of the way while at a stop light from what may be some drunken K-9 cop hauling ass.
On the other link story, then you get witness that say "Witnesses later questioned the police statement, telling The Indianapolis Star that the motorcyclists were blocked by other vehicles and unable to move. Motorcycle safety experts also have said the motorcyclists did the right thing by staying put."
Of course the risk are always there based on the record of the officer "
Before Friday's crash, Bisard, 36, had been involved in five minor on-duty crashes in his nine years on the department. All happened during chases, according to IMPD records."
Then again in another link "
Straub and Chief Paul Ciesielski said Bisard wasn’t arrested at the crash scene because he gave no physical indication of being drunk.
‘There was no indication, not in his behavior or the smell on his breath,” Straub said.
Ciesielski said several high ranking police officers talked to Bisard and nobody noticed any intoxication."
Now he must be very good, or the test are way off, or maybe something else. Find it ironic that I was with a friend that the police took in for DUI for he was under the influence in the officer view, even though they took a breath test that showed .02, of course the police with their super judgement could not beleave it, so they took a second one and it was even less. Of course by the time the second test was done, the police were so confident that my bud was drunk (not nervous and tired as he told them) that they let me drive his car home and when the second test came back lower than the first, too late so not a chance in hell that they would take him home. So being good officer like they were, they charged him with DUI and let him spend the night in jail. Of course he had to spend over 2k to get a lawyer and then have the DA try to get him to a lessor plea, instead it went all the way and all charges were dropped-did not save him the wasted time from work, the cost of the lawyer or more importantly sitting in jail all night, totally sober with a bunch of gang banger in S Florida.
But I digress, the IMPD could not detect anything wrong with their officer that test out two hours later at .19 from blood test!!! All because of those damn bikers that would not get out of his way while they were at a stop light.
Sorry about the rant, but the bottom line is incidents like this is why I now question the whole true facts in the original link and why I have become sceptical to anything involving police actions if it doesn't make sense and biker taunting a officer on the road and then after officer wrecks to come up and taunt same, does not make sense to me!
No more than it make sense for a cop to shoot someone in Baltimorque while off duty for alledgly touching a lady! Or get a warrant and charge a biker with ilegal wire tap, since they posted on YouTube of said officer with his gun pointed at him, an officer in an unmarked car, with no uniform and failing to identify himself until 5 seconds after pulling a gun on bike that was stopped-regardless if he had pulled a wheelie a few min before.
Apologies to the many fine and majority of good officers out there, but too many bad apples out there. Off the soap box!
