As much as I dislike authority, this is just NOT RIGHT....has anyone seen this on CNN?

Let me take one guess what kind of bikes those were. You normaly don't see Harleys or any custom bikes doing that kind of shit. Seems as the crotch rocket bikers all feel they have something to prove, besides that they are stupid.

the word of this on a HD site was it was a group of HD touring bikes.. not rice rockets... but thats just what I read a few days ago... budget cuts.. no cameras.. now all bikers will get a worse rap due to this...& every biker that get pulled over will be a suspect till thay find the people involved..

One thing to taunt, but if someone is injured and bleeding, all bets are off the table and you help them....I'm not gandhi by any means, but where the fuck is the common sense in humanity....and yes, it does seem to be the crotch-rockets based on the video.

If this occured it is very bad and hopefully those that mayhave done such will be caught and the full brunt of the law used.

I (sadly I must say) am somewhat reserved to if this even occured. All we know is that a trooper had a wreck from the story and nowhere did I see any thrid party witness interviewed or discussed and who to say that the Officer did not make it up to cover up for some mistake on his part.

What is sad for me, is that due to the action of a few officers, that I am even questioning it, but that is what it has come down to now and days due to how so many of the officers have been the worse examples of good honest LE.

Couple of douche bags for sure. I'd say 99.9% they were crotch rockets. The story certainly leads you to believe that anyways. Im a little baffled at how they "ran him off the road". Ive seen plenty of police vids involving bikes, they dont normally have a problem ramming them.

For them to stop, walk up to the injured officer, & taunt him.... WOW. Have to be honest, hope they get hammered. That is fucked up.

I can see being young, dumb, & full of it... & wanting to out run a cop but, to wreck him, & then taunt him while wrecked & bleeding, is just wrong IMO.

Not directly related, but an interesting aside.

They are allowed to have dash cams, but if you have a helmet cam it is considered a weapon.

So much for a persons right to his own evidence.

I hope the officer involved in the accident fully recovers.But would you chase a bike at such high speeds in a car thats not built for it c'mon wheres the common sence and personal responsibility. Was the legal offence (most likely traffic)that occured worth risking your life and possibly others? Could thier have been another tactic used besides abviously dangerous speeds?

I find it hard to be HD riders. We've had so many rocket riders doing this lately. One guy was finally caught after several weeks of eluding the cops. They got him with eyes in the sky.

The way I took that, he was stating what has happened before... not that that's what happened then.

I really can't say that I would have either. Obviously it's a little different... but I'm not gonna serve to miss a cat in the road and risk what could happen.

I dunno... how is it different from a cop doing 100 to catch up to someone who's speeding at 80? Or from any other car chase where speeds get that high.
