If you have a can of starting fluid try a squirt in the carb and see if it fires up. If it does then I'd take off the fuel line and carb and clean both real good.

Thanks, I'll drain the tank and carb, clean the carb, put in fresh fuel and use a little starting fluid.

I say do that but leave the starting fluid on the shelf.

I'm kinda with Bill..I've never seen gas go bad in 6 months to the point it won't at least run. Highly Unlikely in a garage.

Now a gummed up carb is possible

Tried your suggestion. Sprayed a little starting fluid, bike ran for a couple of seconds. Must be a problem with the carb or fuel.

Turn of fuel, pull hose off carb, hold ocer catch can and turn fuel back on. Fuel flows? yes, clean out the carb. No, check fuel valve pick-up for obstruction, (Pieces of liner etc.) Check fuel ya caught in can for water or other "crud"

Yup.. starting fluid is always good answer for a second to verify the quality of your fuel. But spark and fuel.. should run.. so yeah as they all said.. clean her up and shame on you for letting the beast set up.. lok

Yes I hate this new gas. It has caused a lot of problems if you do not run motor every day.

I actually fill up with Non-Ethanol here, its a bit more expensive but I deal with it...

I would too but the only non-ethanol gas in this area is 100 LL av gas.
I have used Startron, which is supposed to neutralize the ethanol.

And while you are there check the rubber caps on the carb to make sure they are good and tight. Good luck
