Haven't run the Pitbull in a while cold weather. Installed new battery still will not start. Should i try spraying startering fluid in carb?

I could start several bikes with this battery. I'm thinking there is a problem with the ignition coil. The plugs had no spark before i put the new ones. I hate to have to bring the bike to the damn dealership they will rape me. I called the dealership & he said it could be a number of thing's. The wireing is all good i checked. Nothing's smoking from the battery or any wires. I hate to ruin this battery!

Since you know there's no spark do a search of the forum. I know there are numerous threads about it that will give you all the info you need to get back on the road...

check the thunderheart see it when the ignition is turned on a few seconds later 20 maybe look and see if the red led light comes on, it should pulsesate when the bike rotates if it does not pulse as you crank the starter then you have a short in the ignition module, other sytom after checking the basics all connections should be 12.5 or better no spark may mean module or nose sensor went out from faulty module, if you disconnect the battery it will reset if not a new nose cone sensor should do the trick for the spark, after replacing the nose cone sensor and it run for a little and dies again or returns back to orginal issue then the thunderheart will need to be replace, id recommend a ebay harley nose cose sensor average 25.00+ shipping if it goes out a gain bypass the exsiting thunderhear module and upgrade to a crane or twin tech internal module straight to the coil will fix the problem......before changing please check spark, power to both sides of the coil and check for the red led ill post pictures I just had the same thing...

I would see if a HD one is cheaper. Your bike is a close brother to HD. I hate saying that but its true. Plus you could get one (Used) for 1/4th that price.
my .02 cents

Flames, If you have any mechanial skills and can read a sinle line diagram, you can buy a Daytona Twin Tec Ignition model #1005 for $199.95 at Eatern Performance Cycle and replace the entire Thunderheart System and save $$$$$$
Devo can walk you through this since he just finished doing the same change out on his Mastiff. The twin tec is a nose cone module and doesn't get any easier to install, plus has quite a few add'l bells and whistles.

:iagree: That is your best bet, get rid off all that thunderheart ignition all together. Just follow the instructions that come with it, you should have no problems:2thumbs:

Ok i just checked for power by unplugging 1 connection at a time i have power from both connections. When i touched the test light on the one wire the bike back fired. So i'm lost. Do ya think the Thunder heart is bad? Also when i disconnect the harness and plug it in the light comes on on the Thunder Heart for a second then goes back out.
