You were so happy when you found the first one that you missed the second.
Yep, you got it, needed to slow down and check everything a little better, seems to be good so far, put about 250 mi with no problem, we'll see if it holds up this time.

I wish I had more money.
I think that is common. People encounter a problem and freak out a bit a bit and sometimes overlook some simple issues.

Electrical Problems

First i wish to thank all fellow bigdog owners.
I have been useing this forum for six months for ansers from dog owners, you guy's have ALWAYS been there.
So now that i have been tracking down my elect problems, it's time for me to give back.
Iv had "most" of the problems stated here in these blogs, new batt, new key switch, and then start checking every connection there is.
The other day i finely got to that Chit computer, you know the one with the two 20+pin connectors, pulled them both, one looked pretty good with the factory grease in however the second plug one the computer module had something very interesting going on down in the little gold pin area, three of them looked to have little black rings around them indicating arcing! no chit!
Contact cleaner and 100psi air hose and a tooth brush was used.
As of today, iv have had zero problems five day's running.......

:DDamn, that's good work and thanks for the feedback. This is good news. Like Moespeed said, these EHC units are way too fancy. But I kinda like mine and will do whatever it takes to track down an electrical problem. I helps that I have 4 other bikes to ride if the Big Dog needs down time for maintenance.:2thumbs:
