recently put on s&s dual runner intake and big city thunder baffles, did rejetting and test rides and everything seemed good. went on a 600 mile round trip ride Saturday from Enid OK to Dallas and back, south of okc we got up around 80 and pulling hills and it started cutting out a little so we backed down to 75 and ran fine, figure I need to go up on main jet still. anyways, got to dallas no problem and back to okc, outside of okc only 80 miles from home we slow down for the exit ramp and the bike just dies. pulled in clutch, hit run and then start an it started back up. does this several more times, setting at lights or around 2000 -2500 rpm cruising it would just die, doesn't really stutter or stumble just hesitates once and dies. made sure I was full of fuel, found if I kept it at 3000 rpm it would run and not die so I did that to get it home. today, changed spark plugs, old ones still looked decent, slight black but not wet or dark enough to foul out. checked fuel screen and tank for liner pieces, all looks good. pulled carb apart and checked everything, no torn seals or gaskets, all clean. started and sprayed around intake manifold and carb with carb cleaner, no sign of air leaks. same dang problem though, try to go and within a couple of minutes of warming up it starts it crap, barely even started at the gas station, pulled up the enrichner and it would start and run. push it down it sputtered and died. finally got going and made it home. at slow speeds right when its dying it will cough and sneeze in the carb, like around 20-30mph I can hear it. currently running 32 intermediate jet and 76 main with stock air bleed. 09 k-9 117, 15,000 miles. any ideas or suggestions. sorry for the long post, just wanted to explain the problem and what I have tried.
