Hey TCALZ, does Motox close down everyday or is their site down? I tried to look up them up but all I get is a cartoon with a closed sign on the door. Whats their URL

No, They are not available anymore. Just the stock that is still left on the shelves at the dealers.
IDK. What tire do you have?Why is our front tire bias ply and not radial???
Currently Avon Cobras. To my knowledge, Avon's Cobra and Venom 120/70-21's are bias ply.

Go To www.TireCave.com, click on the tire image, click on left image titled "Tires Street", scroll down to items # 12 and 13 there not actually numbered but that is how far down they are in the list, select the front or rear tire, select the size you need from the list.

Darn if ain't a couple bucks cheaper there and they have free shipping over 150 bucks. I have never used them but TCALZ vouches for them so you can save a few bucks more with them.

I searched my butt off to find the lowest prices. If anybody knows of anyone cheaper please let us know. While I already have my tires I will be keeping these sites handy for my next purchase.

Thanks Kap & Ray I thought I was loosing my mind.....I may need to replace by mid summer or sooner. I just passed 6000 miles yesterday and rear tire is looking like it will only last another couple thousand miles max...The Venom is not made anymore. It's been replaced by the Cobra now.

I just wish I could figure out how in the hell Ray gets 22,000 miles out of a tire, and thats just to the wear bar. I take mine all the way to the bands in the tire.
Man if he could package that tip he could make a fortune.

Thats interesting because I looked it up on both sites. Motox stipulates next to the size that it is a "non-radial". Don't understand that.
TireCave just lists it as a Radial.
I have sent an email to Avon asking the question. WIll let you know when they get back to me.
I will admit that I'm not much of a hotrodder just cruize at high-speed down the freeway!
You guys are funny but I will tell you from all the postings here that the 250 guys get WAY more miles out of a tire than you 300 guys.
I got 19,000 out of my first, 21,000 or so out of my second, 500 out of my third (blow-out in Daytona) and now have over 25,000 on my fourth and it's down to the wear indicators but not worn out other than the flat spot that wears down the middle from time. This last one has been on my bike since my Daytona run back in March of 08! Ordering my new front and rear here shortly.
