Newb, but an old newb. Never had any issues with my 05' Pitbull until recently (other than the '05 starter issues). Now the maintained start/run button on the board located next to the throttle grip is disengaging at very inopportune times. I'm an electronics engineer and understand the nature of PCB's and micro switches and after inspecting this one I'm really suprised it lasted as long as it has. My question is, is it worth it to replace the stock assembly or just bypass it with a Spyke starter push button?
Also, any links to Bigdog electrical schematics, electronic substitution parts, or software? I might as well start researching because components are starting to reach their usable limits. Thanks.
