Hey guys, I changed my pipes last night and changed the inter. jet to the .031, but the shop said that i didn't need to change the main from .074 to a .076. Should I change the main jet and what will be the difference. thanks as always.

I would leave it and see how she runs. They are super easy to change though. When I got my xXx it came with 29.5/72. To my shock they have worked wonderfully and I have proven them with a dyno tune to ensure I had the proper air/fuel mix of 13-14/1.

Depends on what part of the country you are in I guess cause some on her are running an 80 for a main. I ran a 76 down in dry/hot Kalifornia!

Run it and see how she runs and if you feel you need to change it then will only take about 2 minutes.

Yeah leave it...

You don't want to change 2 jets at the same time, then you'll never know which one fixed or F'ed up the mix.

Besides you can change the main by only dropping the bowl plug and sticking a screw driver up thru the hole in the bowl.

ray, gas, blitz; appreciate all the info. like was sead in a different post, "like father like son", it seems more like "like son like father". it took me a few days but with a little help from shane (translated-he did it all) the old pipes are gone from my dog also. it looks like a big f'ing storm is about to come through here so it may be a few days before i get to let the dog run to see how it's feeling.

later

ps: thanks again shane!!!

ray, gas, blitz:

thanks again for all the help. like was said in a different post "like father like son", it seems more like "like son like father". with a little help from shane (translated- he did all the work) the old pipes on my dog are also gone to the side of the garage and replaced with VHBR. it seems like a big f'ing storm is about to come thru here so it will probably be a few days before i can see how the dog runs though.

thanks again.

ps: thanks again shane!!!!

if you did, you would have to fabricate a hinge at the front of the seat and on the frame, use a completely different seat with a metal seat pan, and fabricate a mount for the shox on the bottom of the seat and on the frame. i don't think there would be a way to simply mount some shox on the seat the way it is now. by the way, next time create a new thread with you own question instead of hijacking a thread. thanks
