I'm honestly put off by the lack of the x-wedge in that bike. I don't understand that move.

However, I really want to hear the alpine stereo setup.

I too like the fairing as Vegas said. THe side bags and tail lights are nice as well. I just wonder how hard they are to take on and off so you can clean that rear rim.

The 111 is their square motor and tried and true. I like the 111 but agree an x wedge would be nice. I would feel a little better about being in the middle of Wyoming with a 111 versus a brand new design in the X wedge. I'm giving it a couple years for them to work the bugs out of them.

Assume you mean 117, not 111..? I agree - I'd rather stay with my 117 until the bugs are worked out of the X-Wedge (and there will be some, I'm sure). I saw Harley pull their hair out with all the problems with their 110" Screamin' Eagle engine the first couple years of production:bang:, and they're still having some severe heat "issues" with that particular motor I hear.

Nope it has the 111 and it's a square motor meaning bore and stroke are the same.
You're right..sorry. The 2010 Owner's Manual on-line shows the Bulldog and Coyote with the 111, the Wolf with the X-Wedge 121 and the rest with 117.

The Wolfs 121" X-Wedge is actually square at 4.25" bore and stroke. The 117" X-wedge is 4 3/8" by 4 1/8" but Big Dog's version is square. Keep in mind also that the X-Wedge really isn't that "new". The first few built (Fred and Wilma) were made in 2002 and tested in a bike in '03.

I hear ya. But a POV on a bagger is to tour with it. More "turn key" is what I'm saying would be nice to have.
