Best Reliable Open Primary

I waiting to be told I don't know anything...again. Or better...that I'm stupid. They have all have small pee pees.

I, on the other hand am doing reseach into an Amercian Suspension D-66 Dragon replacement...but you didn't answer my question fellow pervert, Mr. Rubwhore.

I read somewhere you had a shop install the springer...perhaps you also have a small pee pee. Can you tell me how the American Springer Dragon rides...better or it just looks better.

I heard guys that had large pee pees did not like open primarys because they were afraid it would get hung in the belt. Don't know if that is true...but I don't have an open primary. Seriously...the open primary has always been something I was afraid of as I thought there was a possibility that a pant leg might get caught in-although I have always been told they will not. The Baker appeals to me because of the smaller belt size and "industrial" look. I don't think you would go wrong with any of them-but most guys on here have forgotten more about bikes than I know.

The bike is a reflection of the man? Your kidding right. How about this philosophy; a reflection of a man is his service to others, not some inanimate object, like a motorcycle.

I read that the the 5" Karata is a fine primary. The 2.4" Baker is a fine primary as well.

I installed the Baker since it cost less and didn't look like a 5" Karata. Please see my above note for my aesthetic issues with big belts on production bikes, like BDMs.

NO Chatter or *Whine* with a BAKER BELT DRIVE.
(I wont speak of or comment on the *others*)
The *chatter* you are referring to (hearing) is from the clutch plates when they *WEAR* grooves & loosen up the contact patch and groove in the ALUMINUM Clutch Baskets they are installed In.They are "sodomising" the clutch basket & "rattling" because of wear and looseness that your Motors TORQUE Produces.Soft Aluminum cannot handle or withstand that type of torque coefficient.

That WONT happen with a BAKER SYNCHRONOUS BELT DRIVE-Ever!
BAKER Uses Stainless STEEL 1 Piece Machined Clutch Baskets and Pulleys in their kits/clutches/BDM Primary.NO Chatter or wear and NO "creep" or engagement problems even with BIG Inch Motors.
So the answer plain & simple is that NOT all Open Belt Primarys make or produce that unstable chatter or creep & whine that you were asking about.

Thats a very correct reply & statement.
The BAKER unit installs like a wet dream -(not like a wet clutch)easily with NO modifications or fitment problems whatsoever.
I can do one in like 3 hours or so if the person I'm doing the install for isn't talking to me and interrupting my chain of thought with questions or commentary.
And I dont mind a customer watching my installs in any way at all.If you go to BAKER's webpage you can download the pdf installation book and read it-its a very well done set of installation procedures and instructions.
Just what you'd expect from The Best Transmission Drivetrain & Primary Maker in the industry.

In the span of an 8 hour day both of my Baker open belt drives were installed & operating 100% on both of my motorcycles.Easier clutch feel & pressure and a dramatic increase in what I feel is torque & pulling power(probably due to a stronger operating clutch ).I'll be riding to Daytona on one of em-and hopefully the weather up here will cooperate with earlier riding season too-so I can really enjoy them.I'm not the only one who feels that BAKER makes the most reliable belt drive & primary......I see others here run them as well.
Compared to the BDL and others i've tried & used I'll Stick with and recommend BAKER as the best unit you can buy:2thumbs:
