Big Radius Pipes for now.Hey Gas...do you still have those Thunder Monster baffels in? Are they real loud compared to the stock radius baffles? just curious....maybe thinking of getting them

They are seroiusly louder than the stock baffles. Rumor has it if you cut your stock baffles in half length wise you'll get the same sound!

Hey Gas...my bike is dyno tuned....would that take anything away from it? Did you do that to your bike? just curious....

I have not yet had mine on a dyno...

It could change it a bit... what setup and jet sizes are you running?

Come to think of it... I have dynoed mine for the same reason I'm surprised your bike with not evern 500 miles on it has been dynoed...

Don't want to put it threw that with so few miles... I only have 4,000 on mine and I also was waiting till I got all my mods done before paying to have it done.

I think they put the jet kit in that goes with the Big Radius Pipes...I am not sure...but I will find out. They told me that they have dynoed them right out of the box and also with them being broken in and they have had no problems.
I was kinda thinking of maybe cutting them down....but it still sounds good with the stock baffels in.

I still have the BCBT in right now. You're more than welcome to compare the pipe sounds when we get together for a ride.

On the other forum they talked about the sound of a cut down baffle was about the same to these. Further that it might actually produce more power.

I will leave them this way until dyno time. Then I may expierement with the baffles some.

I don't know about power gain. They say there will be... but the sound sure is ALOT better!

Dave... did you ever hear a stock BDM compared to your with the BR? Well the change in sound effect there is about the same as from the stock baffles to the BCTB in...

I have not had it dyno tuned yet and as far as performance maybe a little more but if so, not much. The sound is definately better, especially when you roll off the throttle. Basically the sound got deaper and a little louder but not crazy loud.

Thats cool! I wouldn't mind a little louder....but don't want that annoying loud.
Gas...I heard a stock set of BD pipes on a 06 Pitbull that were punched threw...and that didn't sound too bad.
If I were to cut my baffels down or buy those monster ones you guys have...would I have to re-do the jets.....or use the Big Radius jet kit that I bought with the pipes? I am pretty sure they put in the .076 main and .031 interm. jet that they recommend for the pipes:willy_nilly:
