Take a picture of which bearing your referring too, the one in the transmission? What year bike?

They are pressed in, need a puller, which works on the ID, so not really possible with the main shaft in place.

if your bearing are bad, you need to dismantle the entire trans and rebuild.

Worth mentioning they are pressed in but best not to use a shop press on the transmission to press in or out. Should be pressed in manually with ratcheting tools, otherwise you might crack the transmission case. That's a very expensive mistake.
