Now if your business is based on Internet and phone sales. Shouldn't your internet site be up to par? Shouldn't it be the best you can make it? Its like a retail store. If your store is messy and your sales reps keep selling you the wrong gear. Your less likely to be a repeat customer.

Id be doing what ever was necessary to make my business succeed. If it ment working late, weekends and especially fixing my site. Then I'd do it.
My Mom didn't have to do that. It's all in what your mind thinks it should be doing. Also, I don't get paid for working nights, weekends, or overtime.

I think bdpp doesn't care about the site because it is just a liquidation.

Can't argue with that. If improvements aren't made soon, they may not be around for much longer. But easy answers aren't always that easy. It takes time and money that may not be available. Big Dog Motorcycles had a kickass site, so it's not like these guys are totally incompetent. In reality, BDPP would have been a whole lot better off if they'd simply left off the "Image coming soon" tags. Most people would have been impressed with the fact they have pictures on a lot of the parts and wouldn't have necessarily expected them on everything. If phones aren't getting answered, emails returned, etc., it's likely because they're too busy and need more help. How much would good competent help cost? Someone who knows parts and who can actually contribute? $25,000+? Gotta sell a lot of t-shirts to cover that. :) Heck, I've been trying to do business with a very respected individual on this site for months. No (or little) response to emails and PM's. By you guys' standards he should fail. I just understand he's busy and can't keep up. My tolerance level is a bit higher, because I understand it's not a perfect world. But that only goes so far. Personally, I'd love to know what BDPP's business plan is. As others have mentioned, maybe they are just stringing things along until they liquidate stock... For all I know, this could just be a Coleman write off. {yeah, I can ramble like hell on business analysis. :loony:}

All these wrong parts they send out. Last time I got a beanie (skull cap) from them that had no stretch in it so returned it. They paid return shipping as it was defective. If I was to return an item to be replaced because it was the incorrect part (as I will be doing next week with some seals). Surely the added cost of return shipping both ways and handling time/materials cant be good for any overheads or profit margin.

By no means am I knocking BDP as they haven't done bad by me at all. I just think they could do a lot better with not much effort. Its not really that hard to add pics to a web site (i guess depending on what format they have).............. It does make sense however if they indeed are liquidating everything.

OK Vendors, I need a set of rear pegs and a 12" sissy bar/pad for my 06 K-9. Make me a happy customer and I'm loyal for life.

You wont be getting paid at all if your business goes under.
She was the only business in the United States of America so nobody had a choice. She made a profit on every item sold. After decades of business she sold the business. So, she never lost money and actually didn't care if the business failed. She sold to the government, movies and public. :D

I do agree you will not get paid if your business goes under. In Louisiana, there is so much business under the table it will blow you away. For example, why do you think there weren't as many fisherman claims against BP? That's because they couldn't prove their income!:D
