...but I've gotta say, I'm a little uneasy taking a new bike with perfect paint now....and letting somebody start throwing red and blue around!!! :)
I know whatcha mean there - I waited 4 months, and mine did not come back EXACTLY as I had specified - but if you have a truly talented painter, you'll love it anyway - I sure did.

I think it came out good....I'm about 95% satisfied....it's hard to get the picture in my head of what I want into the painters head....with that being said....I still think he did a very good job!!

MLB, here's how to get your pics to show up in the forum, full sized.

In your "Webshots" account select the specific shot you want to display. Notice the row of little icons, just below the picture. Click on the second-to-last icon that looks like a little book with a blue band at the top. (The pop-up descriptions says, "Copy the code to post this photo in a forum.") This will take you to another page, where it generates three different "codes" for your pic.

At the top of the white box is a green label that says, "post this photo." Just under that is a series of boxes, labeled 100, 200, 425, 500, and 600. This determines what size of a picture will be posted in the forum - you want 600 - not the default value of 100 - so click on "600." It will then generate different codes and redisplay them.

Now click on the bottom text string, which is labeled "post in a forum." That will highlight the text string that starts with "[URL=http://yadayada...." Copy that text string using the menu selection "Edit/Copy" (or type Ctrl-C).

Go back to the Big Dog forum, click in the edit box where you normally type your text messages, and select Edit/Paste (or type Ctrl-V), and the "[URL=..." text string will appear - add a few words to describe the pic, and voila - you've got it!

Before you officially post it, you can preview your progress by clicking on either the "Go Advanced" button, or sometimes the "Preview Post" button. You can always edit the result, even after you post it.

Now, let's see those pics!

Your painter did a terrific job!

I like the way the bike still retained such a clean, white appearance overall. He was also pretty clever with the design of the front fender, keeping it essentially symmetrical, while retaining some white so it matches the frame.

Isn't it great to know that there's not another bike on the planet that looks like yours??

I'd be proud to ride alongside you anytime, Mark!

Here are a few more pics of MLB's fantastic new paint.

Just a few months ago it was just a pure white canvas. Since I'm little biased toward flag paint (ya think?), I volunteered to help him post 'em for your viewing pleasure.

Looks great, don't ya think? :2thumbs:
