These are compatible and quite a bit cheaper. The part numbers you listed were about 50 bucks a piece when I last checked. I'm currently using the parts below from Digikey.com and they work just fine. Not the cheapest, but good quality. Ebay has 50pin Dsub for cheaper but I'm not sure about the quality. The 36 pin combo-d are harder to find.

I have not found any hoods, the covers for the connectors, that I like yet. BDM had theirs made by positronic and are right angle hoods.
