Bruce: I paid $158 plus shipping from Summit Racing.
I just checked their website and it's $159.60 + $11.95 shipping to my area(14004) for a total of $171.55(B2015). Looks like about the best price out there. There are other websites that have a lower buy price but much higher shipping costs. I am still looking into this and hope to have some solid information by the beginning of the week.

I'm still running my original Yuasa battery..........from '04 (Battery Tender since bike was picked up in June of that year).

The gel cel motorcycle/ATV ect. (sealed batteries) should be charged at NO MORE than 1.2 amps.

to the original thread starter..........shitcan your battery, its done.

No matter what kind of streetbike I have had, I get exactly close to two years out of a battery. I keep mine on a smart charger all the time... GateWay BigDog swears by the DEKA so I am goona go with that...I think...unless I come across something truly badass...

If I knew that it would never fail, it would be worth it. I thought that there was a thread stating not to use this type of battery in a motorcycle...
