Yep put it on and place on trans case and gasket position correctly then a little bit on the outside and slide the door back on. Life is good. Now remember A little gasket sealer goes a long way, don't add it so it's oozing out
Trap door is of like 4 to 5 mm, but still keep feeling stuck or clamped. Gasket is loose, but the drap door won’t come off. Around the main shaft it seems to be stuck the most. Any ideas? It’s a Baker 6 Right Side Drive from 2010.

Never mind. I got it off :). Under the countershaft seal there was one more bolt, which I forgot the loosen.

Does anyone know the HD partnumber of this countershaft seal?

That helps to get all the bolts out, huh?

I think you are talking about the seal I mentioned in my post #12? Part # is listed there, it was the one Seal missing from the original thread.

No, in post #12 you mentioned a main shaft oil seal (for an old one). I’m talking about the seal/end cap on the outside of the trap door, for the countershaft. On my tranny its a rubber end cap, under which that one bolt was.

Curtis at WSW has all the seals and gaskets broken down by part #. You can see the transmission diagram breakdown and see all the parts listed. I just replaced my seals and gaskets for the right side as well. This thread was a big help.

What your calling the trap door #27 in my manual is this also called the listening door? One more dumb question, it sounds like you are talking about three different seals. I’m looking at my Manuel and thinking of just the two# 13&14 oil seal and the quad seal and does the trap door have to be removed to access the quad seal .Sorry about all the questions but I’m stuck out in the boonies and pretty much have to do most repairs myself, with the expert advice I get here on Tapatalk

The quad seal on my Baker 6 Right Side Drive only required to remove the sprocket. Then there’s a thick spacer that slides off (remember the way it goes on) and behind that spacer you’ll find the quad seal o-ring.
