A BDL TF-1000 primary is going for $3200+ now. Of course they will only work on the LSD ‘04 & earlier bikes.They were around 3200.00 when discontinued, they only went up from there!

LOL and it didn't cost me as much as my first Born child
I will tell you this it Definitely cost me more than the 3200,00 when discontinued. I came close to selling it for $1200 more than I paid (Don't know what the hell I was thinking there}
I would never have forgiven myself because I would have never found anotherYes that’s normal. You kinda get used to it.Well I finally got to take the dog out Yesterday and try out the new open primary. Got a question ? It's got a rattling sound in neutral with the clutch Released. Not real loud but is definitely noticeable . As soon as I squeeze in the clutch it goes away is this normal? I didn't notice this after I first installed it and had it running in the shop but now that I have a couple 100 miles on it I can hear it. It almost sounds like a loose rocker arm or I should say about the same type of sound.
Like HMAN says…Being Cool Ain’t Cheap!I still want one for a LDS. But 3k is 1/2-1/3 the cost of the bike haha.

I would think it would definitely work. You would probably just need a different offset….Is there any way to make one for a 300/330 rear tire fit on a 250 rear tire? If so I'd be very interested in it.
Isn’t that funny… I love the sound of it. To each his own. At least you put it on to find out!Well guys I'm thinking seriously about taking my Baker open primary off and selling it. It has less than 300 miles on It and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. I just don't like listening to the noise. Thought I'd Get on here and see if anyone is interested. They were selling for $3200 when they quit making them and The price just climbed from there as you all know . They are now a Unicorn . I paid Way more for it than that. If anyone is interested just let me know and we'll see if we can get together on itView attachment 137891

i am thinking the same thing for sure, but I cant remember how the offset on the baker works. If its made into the motor plate or if there were actual offset rings that mounted between the motor plate and motor. But I am thinking the offset for the 250 was larger than the 300. Which means you should be able to take a 300 open primary and add offset to it to make it work on the 250. But I don't think the 250 could work on a 300 because you cant take offset away. If i remember correctly. But maybe someone could clear this up. But if the is a way to make this work I definaI would think it would definitely work. You would probably just need a different offset….
