FREEDOM!!!
Our OEM batteries where 270CCA and mine lasted 3 yrs. But now they are rated at 310 and only last 2 years now if your lucky. How do you keep something the same size/power over 10 years and keep the price the same with rising labor/material costs so the bean counters can keep the company showing profits year after year? They cut cost outta the interior plates by making them smaller and now they last a year or 2 tops. They now can increase the height of the plates inside the empty area in the case and make them more efficient to hold a higher longer lasting charge because they reduced them in prior years. The Braille below is 426 CCA however it $200, the Trottle X is $130 and 500CCA which is still cheaper than a hardly battery, both are still much cheaper than a Lithium. But many members have the Braille, why? Because some are getting many more than 2-3 years outta them, other MFG's are catching up and competing.
As far as the hammer and chisel, why would you ever use a black key instead of the red one that limits 750hp to 500hp, maybe ya don't use it but it sure is nice knowing its there

I just bought and installed the 500cc 20X battery. I had bought the Braille a year ago and kept on a tender but only started the bike a couple of times. I was customizing it so a lot of down time. Braille died. Maybe a battery needs to cycle to stay healthy? Load, discharge, recharge, etc etc???? I don't know but the 500cc fired it right up yesterday and went riding since the customizing is finally finished!!!
