Anyone used KPL auto transport?

Reason I ask is I bought a K9 and it was supposed to be delivered Monday between 4-7, than it was delayed until yesterday at 4pm. The company has a phone number but it's some bogus saying noone is available to take your call, and they claim they have 24/7 support through
[/LIST]e-mail...yeah right. I find it hard to believe that a shipping company doesn't have personnel to answer a phone nor do they contact you to let you know what the hell is going on and why they're not here with the bike, what a bunch of s***. Bought the bike through e-bay agent which I researched is the only way to go, looks like I may have got scammed...at least I can get money back.

Their website has a place to put the tracking # to see where your item is.
Good luck with this

My sister bought a car and shipping was delayed by a week it was a bunch of BS. Hang tight hopefully you'll have it today. Unfortunately your at the mercy of the trucking co.

Yeah I have the tracking number and I checked it again this morning and it still said yesterday at 4pm. Hard to comprehend a carrier doesn't have live support and a legitimate phone number. See what happens today......very frustrating.

Earl, does your sister have a contact name and or number at KPL other than the bogus one listed on the website?

Had that happen with my Mustang. The transportation company was a week late, told me they couldn't get their truck close enough to my house so I had to drive 20 miles to get the car with cash in hand to pay the fucking rag head. If I didn't cough the cash up, they would have stolen the car since the "pink" slip was in the dash....In the end, it all worked out. Just a tough week of walking on ice and maKING NON-STOP phone-calls. Keep the phone calls up!

I haven't got through to anyone at KPL, like I said their phone number is bogus. Sounds like a great shipping company I would recommend to everyone! NOT!

I did a quick search and haven't come up with anything either. I am wondering what state they are licensed through. If you could figure it out, maybe it would lead to some contact person. I didn't see where they show a physical location or that they are incorporated (which mean you could find a registered agent). Maybe some of the guys on here with trucking knowledge can think of a way to track down more info about the company.

Good question. The shipping details said it was shipped from the warehouse in Aurora NC. The seller has even tried to get ahold of them. I've googled, looked through yellow pages in and around North Carolina. Who knows, but the damn bike better show up.

That's non-sense. So ebay shows this company as a vedor to use for shipping? If so I would complain to ebay as well. Hope your dog comes home safe and sound.

The seller arranged the shipping and I've complained to E-bay about the whole deal but my funds are still safe and sound. Non-sense is right, makes a guy second guess buying something online. It's 2 weeks today since it supposedly shipped.

Shortfuse I really hope everything turns out well for you. Although you've had a bad experience don't be too quick to count out the online option. First the option of buying a motorcycle online gives you a much better selection usually at lower price. Sometimes that difference in price can be just enough for some people on the bubble to be able to afford a BDM. Also with the way things are going, it seems ebay may be the only option for BDM parts in the near future. Although I didn't buy my BDM off of ebay, I'm not sure if I could maintain mine without the online option.

Just my dos centavos.

I had to go to PCS in Aurora, N.C. A couple of years ago and there is hardly anything there. It is in the middle of nowhere.

Not trying to scare you, they could have a warehouse out in the woods. It just a long way from anywhere. I sent you a pm.

Well, it will be 3 weeks on Friday since this bike supposedly shipped. I'm beginning to think that I may have bought something that doesn't exist. And what kind of company says noone is available during the week and once weekend hits the message changes from our hours are 9AM-9PM M-F EST? Reaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllly? I've had it not being able to get ahold of anyone and taking time off work to go wait for a truck that is never going to show up. KPL is a f----------------- JOKE!

Do you have a bill of laden or nay paper work from these people. If so, is there a dot number on the paper work. The truckers I know need something to get them started. One thing for sure KPL Auto Transport isn't registered in North Caorlina or Virginia.
