Hey folks, looking for ideas on latest problem. Had rocker boxes, heads, pistons, cylinders replaced due to TP problems on 05 chopper. While in there, had an S&S 600 cam and 640 springs installed. Was running great while breaking in the new components and then started to smoke (blue) after a right turn. Dealer found a pinched valve stem seal and replaced. All good and doing well, then tranny started acting up, shift drum replaced and all good yet again. Well took a nice long 200 mile round trip and within a few blocks of home started the blue smoke smoke-screen again after pulling away from a traffic light. Got home pulled the plugs and the front was fouled and the rear slightly fouled. The dealer picked it up and was able to reproduce the problem. The mechanic called BDM and they are thinking a ring failed to seat correctly. I think an oil return hole is partially plugged, allowing the valve stem to be flooded with oil and then sucking oil into the chamber. They will be pulling the rocker boxes off next week and trying to figure it out. What do you guys think? I can't see a ring after 500 miles not seating correctly? Really miss the dog and forced to add more miles on the 05 softail.
