A lot of times those marking occur. But if they're not too awfully bad, you can usually clean them up with "Scotch-Brite" until smooth. But replacing is the best thing to do though.
But I do recommend using a "Dry-Film-Lubricant" spray on the upper and lower races to help prevent that from reoccurring so quickly. You can buy it at any bearing supplier. Just use a thin even coat. :2thumbs:
