Adjusting clutch

Following the how to on adjusting the clutch on my 07 Mastiff,have did it before without any problems.But this time cant seem to break the jam-nut loose, any advice, thanks for the help.

Be gentle! I broke the threaded adjuster a month ago and had to change the whole cable. Are you using two wrenches? Stupid question but you never know.

Socket, long breaker bar or slip something over the handle like a box end wrench and act the torsion bar... load/unload/load and eventually it loosens up. Direct force down, you pop the socket off the nut, round the nut... is how you make more trouble for yourself.

there's 2 different people with trouble here, make sure you use the right info. looks like one on the primary side and one on the cable.

Danny majors... what year bike? What model bike? What is going on with clutch cable?is it broke? Is it not engaging? Is it slipping?
