Glad you guys are keeping up with it. It's a blast writing about the ole times. If it wasn't for getting a new scanner I may never have started this thread.I rate this thread way up there ... I find myself asking whats going to happen next! NO Fuck is still the same  pretty scarry some places I still work in Norfolk a few times a month...SO dark you need a search light to get out. yet some areas very pretty ...by boat ! I Love to fish in and around Eliz River. This thread makes me relive some of my formitive years ... "wondering how the hell I made it this far. GREAT POST![]()
Robert Palmer vids were real good. Too bad MTV went to shit. We do have VH1 now but it's nothing like MTV was back in the early days. Too much Rap shit and other stuff for me now.Ray, I'm really glad you got a scanner! Some of this is kinda like "ridin' with you"! But I think I'll pass on the long submersions under the ice (don't think that would be my thing.
I remember MTV. I was working in Montana in the '80s and loved watching the music vids. Recently I came a across some of those oldies: Paula Abdul (with the little animated characters and Rober Palmers sexy vids, Addicted to Love and Simply Irristable).
Sturgis must have been a real kick back then, but a "coin toss" if you would get there and back with the bike reliability issue. The Chip definitely looked different this summer, huh?!
Only part of your story that I didn't like was the last one of your brothers accident. Really sorry that happened and hope the story turns out OK.

No journal, just reflecting back when I pull these old pictures out and scan them to the computer...Wow ..not how I thought the next segment would go, I have a question, do you have a journal or some sort of diary ? I would have a hard time remembering with as much clarity ..unless I had wrote it down ,today we call it a daytimer but you get the idea!!! This post is really good ,a great way for us to know who you are. Lives are shaped by our experences . I'm looking fwd to the next one ..great job .![]()
Well you would be part of the film Lee......... The Redwood part! That was a great run and you and Lise put a lot of miles on.I echo what everyone else says. I started reading and couldn't stop til I got to the end. Looking forward to the next bit. Ray, this would make a great film - you could make your millions. I always fancied doing a bit of acting!!
You're to funny!! :roll:Rayy! You rock man. As goofy as it sounds. This is the first thing I check when I get home from the work. Funny huh. Other than how the family is of coarse. Yes dear.Right away dear as I am trotting down the stairs.
