Thanks Dave, just a simple story to takes everyones mind of the winter or economy.damn Ray!you da man for sure!:2thumbs: cool pic's
Great post Ken, in my next segment I will talk about a new TV station that played nothing but good ole "Rock & Roll" something that you don't see on it anymore! Not to get into the "feel sorry for yourself" mode, but in reading Ray's Sailor Story and seeing his pics makes me lament getting older. But with that said, I must say I have few regrets, have had a great life, and still adhere to the adage: "I may be getting older, BUT I REFUSE to grow up" (and I think I have a lot of good miles in me yet)!
So all you young gunners, live life like there was no tomorrow and try to have few regrets. (Seems like Ray did that)!:flag:
And give this great song some thought:

Haaahaaahaa! That sounds just like the Sheriff I met somewhere down in Texas when I flew through his radar trap in my brand new '71 corvette with the 454....Well back in the 70's I don't have to tell you what happened but you can imagine a scene out of "Dukes of Hazards" a fat Sheriff pulls up.
Yeah, those Corvettes are over rated and just get you in trouble!!Haaahaaahaa! That sounds just like the Sheriff I met somewhere down in Texas when I flew through his radar trap in my brand new '71 corvette with the 454.It was a "navy trip" from Glynco, GA to San Diego. He had to call the mayor to ask, "What to do about that young 'un in the little yaller car."
Fortunately they just wanted me to invest in their shi**y little town, not hold me for ransom - so I was OUTA THERE!
