Anyone know where you can get the rubber button for the stock speedo on a 2009 EFI K-9.it's attached to the dakota digital speedo available from Mad Dog.

Give me the diameter of the hole in the glass and the height of the button top from the glass and I'll see if I can find something.
If I get the accurate dimensions I can design a Solidworks 3D model and possibly create a mold to pour black silicone into and cast replacement covers.
Anyone having access to silicone hobby molding or work related mold/casting experience, feel free to offer any assistance to get some made.
Here's a start. You would need to make a tiny adapter plug to fit to the glass hole size.

[/ATTACH][/ATTACH]for a temporary fix i have been using vacuum line end caps from the local auto store,,they keep water out and i do not have any fogging issues,, one downside is the rubber/plastic is too damn hard to reset the odometer so ill pull it off to do the reset after getting fuel, then push it back on

:flag:Thanks boomer, but I found a weather proof toggle switch cover that I put over it for now. It's a little big so I will look for a smaller one. Found it at an electonics shop. I used silicone to stick it in place and I can still use the functions of the button. I would post a picture, but I don't have the capabilities to do so.:up:

I wondered for 6 months after I bought my bike why the peg just bounced and why it was open to the elements. Then I looked at my buddies bike and realized mine just never had the plug since I bought it. Sign me up!
