:(Anyone know where you can get the rubber button for the stock speedo on a 2009 EFI K-9.:(
Give me the diameter of the hole in the glass and the height of the button top from the glass and I'll see if I can find something.

If I get the accurate dimensions I can design a Solidworks 3D model and possibly create a mold to pour black silicone into and cast replacement covers.

Anyone having access to silicone hobby molding or work related mold/casting experience, feel free to offer any assistance to get some made.

Here's a start. You would need to make a tiny adapter plug to fit to the glass hole size.
Push Button Switch Boot - UNC

for a temporary fix i have been using vacuum line end caps from the local auto store,,they keep water out and i do not have any fogging issues,, one downside is the rubber/plastic is too damn hard to reset the odometer so ill pull it off to do the reset after getting fuel, then push it back on:cheers:

speedo button cover

:flag:Thanks boomer, but I found a weather proof toggle switch cover that I put over it for now. It's a little big so I will look for a smaller one. Found it at an electonics shop. I used silicone to stick it in place and I can still use the functions of the button. I would post a picture, but I don't have the capabilities to do so.

I wondered for 6 months after I bought my bike why the peg just bounced and why it was open to the elements. Then I looked at my buddies bike and realized mine just never had the plug since I bought it. Sign me up!
