Then you’ll have to make another decision. You can buy the high-priced replacement, or re-do the bars and switches. The Thunderheart brain will work with ANY switches.
One option I haven’t seen mentioned is to just take your circuit board from your hand control to your local electronics tech and have him repair or rebuild it.

I’m going to have to disagree with you on that. It doesn’t come with a new headlight or blinkers or a new starter either, but what it supposedly does come with is everything you need to replace your old EHC ( a new computer box and the wiring harness for the new computer that is supposed to be plug in and go). The PDM kit from BDM was similar in that it came with the wiring harness that already had the plugs on it.

I think that the high price is only unreasonable when you don’t need one. If you NEED one, then it isn’t so bad (compared to new bars and switches).

The sky is falling! The sky is falling! Doom and gloom.
At some point we all are going to die, but I’m not going to keep worrying about it all the time.
If it isn’t broke don’t fix it (customizing isn’t fixing).
Prepare for emergencies, plan for contingencies, then live and see what gets in the way next.
AMEN!
