A Bad Day for the bike!!!

Rode up the Gulf today from St. Pete Beach to Clearwater Beach about 25 miles.
Stopped at Frenchy's for several hours. At 2 o-clock went out opened the gas, turned the key on, pressed the start button -DEAD- and half the lights were not working. Tried again NOTHING. Tried to jump start the bike directly to the starter - no luck it would hardly turn over. Compression release was not working. Could not leave the bike there called a towing company.Waited over an hour, they finally arrived. Loaded up the bike told the driver to take it to Tampa Big Dog. He told me that TBD lost their lease and closed last week! He said that he could take it to Jims Harley in St. Petersburg and drop it off there.
That will be $125.00. Then it started to pour lire a monsoon. Rode with the him to Jims Harley dropped off the bike then a friend picked me up and went home. The bike is soaked!!! Wish me luck!!!

Been there... I had just replaced the battery a week before with said similar problem. Guess what, the brand new battery took a crap on me. Tossed in a new one and the bike was good to go. Hopefully your issue is a quick and easy fix.

Just does not run like it did. Sometimes it dies out then I get it started then it craps out again. Just want to take it some place that can locate the problem and fix it!

Verify your charging system is not bad - the stater and regulator will go bad & fry you up.
FOR SURE.........start with the basic's,check voltage regulator, make sure your battery is good and work your way back up threw the system.......
